Two suspected drug dealers are behind bars in Washington County facing multiple charges.
Sheriff Thomas Smith tells NewsCentral, 32-year old Sherman Sentelle Lawrence of Warthen and 30-year old Zinta Neal of Wrens, were taken into custody on Tuesday.
Smith says the pair was arrested at a home on Mt. Zion Road in Warthen after deputies served a search warrant.
During the search officers discovered 27 grams of crack cocaine, marijuana, digital scales, a smoking device, and money.
Lawrence and Neal are both charged with Violation of Georgia Controlled Substance Act, Possession of Crack Cocaine with Intent to Distribute, and Possession of Marijuana.
The Tennile Police Department and the State Probation Office are assisting in the investigation.
