Warner Robins man arrested for alleged role in rash of arson fires

The Lamar County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest in a recent rash of arsons in Upson County.

Deputy Jonathan Hamrick spotted a vehicle that matched an earlier lookout. The driver, Travis Leroy Ball of Warner Robins was arrested after a traffic stop on Georgia Hwy 36 west. Ball has been charged with arson in the first degree and is being held at the Lamar County Detention Center.

The investigation is ongoing. A bond hearing for Ball was scheduled at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Lamar County Magistrate Court.
