W.R. Teenager Shot Over the Weekend

Warner Robins Police are investigating a Sunday aggravated assault.

Officers were called to the 400 block of Camellia Circle in reference to a person with a gunshot wound just after 6 p.m. Sunday.

Officers determined that a confrontation occurred on Wendan Way when 17-year-old Austin Roberts was shot in the back. Roberts ran for help toward Camellia Circle where the police were called.

Roberts was treated and released at the Medical Center of Central Georgia.
