Vendors Make Presentations in Macon for New 800 Megahertz System

The public heard presentations from two companies bidding to update the city's 911 system.
Presentations were heard in Macon City Hall from two vendors with the top bids for the 800 megahertz system.
In November, voters approved an $8 million dollar upgrade to a 800mhz radio system to improve communications among all communications public safety agencies.
