Two visitations set for MPD Lieutenant who died of cardiac arrest

Visitation has been set for a Macon Police Swat Commander who died unexpectedly over the weekend.

Two visitations will be held for Lieutenant Mark Cotton on Thursday, January 17th. The first will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. and another from 6 to 8 p.m. at Snow's Memorial Chapel on Cherry Street. At the family's request, funeral arrangements will not be made public.

Cotton died as the result of cardiac arrest. He was found dead at the department's training center Sunday night.
