Two sent to hospital after serious wreck in Warner Robins

Warner Robins police are investigating a serious car accident that sent two people to the hospital Friday morning.
It happened at the intersection of Leverette Road and South Houston Lake Road just after 11:00 a.m. Officers responded to the scene in reference to a traffic collision with injuries.
Warner Robins Public Information Officer Tabitha Pugh says a preliminary investigation revealed a Toyota Corolla operated by 25-year-old Mary Aldredge of Warner Robins was attempting to turn left from southbound South Houston Lake Road when it collided with a Toyota Rav4, operated by 59-year-old Nancy Smith of Warner Robins. Smith was traveling northbound on South Houston Lake Road.
Pugh says both drivers were taken to the Medical Center of Central Georgia for their injuries. Both are listed in serious condition.
