Two adults, one juvenile behind bars for Crisp County murder

NewsCentral Staff

Two adults and a juvenile are behind bars for the murder of a Crisp County woman two weeks ago.

Police in Cordele say 18-year-olds Vacorey Deontie Yowe and Jacorey Jackson, and an unnamed juvenile were arrested Sunday night.

Each faces charges of armed robbery, possession of firearms during the commission of a felony and murder. The charges stem from the November 11 shooting death of 39-year-old Cynthia Curtis.

Police say the three suspects lived within walking distance of the crime scene. It is believed the murder was a robbery that went wrong.
