An alleged kidnapping is under investigation in Houston County.
Deputies with the Houston County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a kidnapping along Arena Road in south Houston County around 6 p.m. Friday.
Deputies were able to determine that 21-year-old Justin Oluwole Babatunde had kidnapped a two-year-old girl during a custody exchange with a custodial parent.
Babatunde fled into the woods with the two-year-old and was able to elude authorities for almost 4 hours before being captured at a residence in the Mossy Oaks subdivision.
The child was returned to the custodial parent unharmed.
Babatunde is being held in the Houston County Detention Center on kidnapping and other related charges.
