Two Tennile men arrested for stealing beer and cigarettes

Two Tennille men have been arrested and charged with burglary, theft and criminal trespassing.

Washington County Sheriff Thomas Smith says 54-year-old Wilmer mason and 53-year-old Donnie Waters stole beer and cigarettes from the S&T Food Mart on Harris Street in Sandersville.

It happened in the early morning hours on August 21st. Smith says the owner arrived at work that morning and discovered a glass window busted. Security camera footage helped investigators solve the crime.
