'Trick or Treat Street' at Macon Mall a Huge Success

Having never done a Trick or Treat Street, none of us knew what to expect. But to say the event was a success would be an understatement.
Tons of families chose to come to the Macon Mall to trick or treat in a safe and climate controlled environment and maybe do a little shopping as well.
Businesses had candy on hand but no one expected the crowds to be nearly as massive as they were.
Just how massive you ask?
The WGXA table was stocked with over $500 worth of candy....it was all gone in the first hour forcing us to restock.
"This is the first time that we've had a big turnout here at the Macon Mall in a while. All the tenants have talked about it was much larger than anticipated and of course we want to thank WGXA for sponsoring and helping us out I think that was a great thing as well but we are quite pleased with the turnout." -Lisa Brown/Operations Marketing Manager
Ms Brown says she hopes to make Trick or Treat Street an annual event.
