Three left homeless after fire in Centerville

NewsCentral Producer

Centerville Fire Chief Jason Jones says crews were called out to the 100 block of Brown Drive just before 7 a.m. Thursday.

Three people were in the house asleep when one awoke to popping wood and alerted roommates to get out of the burning home. The fire destroyed the house and two vehicles.

Investigators say they still haven't found out how the fire started. Jones says there is no reason to believe it was an arson. No one was injured.
