Teens in jail for running over goat belonging to FFA project

Two Houston County teenagers are in jail and charged with cruelty to animals after running over a goat.

The goat was part of a FFA project at Mossy Creek Middle School in Houston County. Surveillance cameras caught 19-year-old William Dakota Dixon of Perry and 17-year-old Tanner Ritnour of Bonaire letting the goat out of its pen then running it over in a van.

The teens are charged with burglary in the second degree and cruelty to animals.
