Teen found bound and shot in Gwinnett County home is laid to rest in Macon

A 14-year-old boy found bound and shot to death in an Atlanta-area home was laid to rest in Macon Friday afternoon.

Friends and family of Paul Sampleton gathered at Holsey Temple CME Church on Washington Avenue Friday. Meanwhile, investigators are still trying to unravel what happened to the boy. An incident report says the teen was found dead December 19th at a home in Gwinnett County.

A memorial fund has been established in the name of Paul Sampleton at Wells Fargo Banks. Sampleton has family in the Macon area.
