Suspicious Death Under Investigation

Macon Police are investigating a suspicious death near Riverside Drive.

Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones tells WGXA the police received a welfare call at 1:00 a.m. on Thursday. Jones says police discovered a dead body at the address of 2923 General Lee Road.

Jones says an autopsy is scheduled for this morning. WGXA will bring you more details on the investigation as information becomes available.
