Student caught with two knives at Westside High School

A 16-year-old male student at Westside High School was taken into custody by campus police after being caught with two knives on campus.

The first knife was discovered after it fell from the student’s pocket. After a search of the student by campus police, a second knife was found in his book bag.

The student has been charged with possession of a weapon on school grounds and transported to the Macon Regional Youth Detention Center.
