Store Employee Fires Gun After Catching Burglary Suspect In Act

An alleged criminal is in the hospital after the would be victim takes actions into his own hands.
Jami Gaudet with the Macon Police Department tells NewsCentral an Academy Sports employee got to his car after work to find a man inside.
The two men began fighting and the employee used his gun and shot the suspect, fifty one year old Charles Stinson Junior.
The suspect fled the scene, but later officers found the suspect being treated at the hospital for a gunshot wound to the jaw.
The Academy employee has not been charged in the shooting.
