South Bibb Fatal Accident Involves Teenage Pedestrian

The Bibb County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal traffic accident involving a teenage pedestrian in south Bibb County.
The accident occurred around 8 p.m. Friday on Hawkinsville Road, just south of Walden Road.
According to a witness on the scene, a Hispanic male was crossing the southbound lanes of Hawkinsville Road when he was struck by a vehicle.
According to Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones, the victim is 15-year-old Jose Bravo. After the accident, Bravo was taken to the Medical Center of Central Georgia where he died from multiple blunt force trauma.
