Sheriff not prepared to comment yet on Judge Simms DUI investigation

More details in the investigation of Judge Howard Z. Simms and his non-arrest on DUI charges 9 days ago.

WGXA has learned that a captain was at the scene the night of the roadblock. Chief Deputy David Davis says he and Sheriff Jerry Modena were to meet with internal affairs investigators Monday afternoon.

We contacted the Sheriff's office but were told Sheriff Modena would not comment on the investigation because he is still reviewing it. Results are expected to be released sometime this week.

Judge Simms passed through a roadblock as a part of operation Rolling Thunder on September 22nd.
