Septic Truck Overturns in Baldwin County

NewsCentral Staff

Baldwin County officials spent part of their Tuesday attending to a rather messy traffic accident.

Baldwin County Fire Chief Troy Reynolds tells WGXA a fully loaded septic truck flipped and overturned around 2:30 Tuesday afternoon.

It happened on Pebble Hill Road, roughly 6 miles south of Milledgeville.

Much of the trucks contents spilled into the roadway and ditch, creating one stinky mess.

The driver was taken to an area hospital for minor injuries.

Responders say weather may have been a likely factor in the accident.
