Second Arrest Made in Waffle House Shooting Case

Macon Police have made a second arrest in the Waffle House murder case.

20-year-old Devonte Quashawn Haywood was arrested for murder in connection with the December 9th shooting incident outside the Waffle House on Chambers Road.

Christopher Crowder was killed during the incident.

MPD Criminal Investigation Major Charles Stone tells WGXA that the U.S. Marshals Southeast Region Fugitive Task Force served a Macon Police Department Warrant early Wednesday morning in order to make the arrest.
