NewsCentral Producer

The auditorium of a Bibb County Eementary School now bears the name of a longtime coach and mentor.

Alexander II Magnet School dedicated its auditorium to retired teacher and coach Jim Mills.
Coach Mills retired this year after 22 years with the Bibb County school district.

“I am just overwhelmed and humbled. I have worked at a great school and not many people can say that.”

Mills was a PE teacher for ten years at Alexander II.
He also sponsored the jump rope team, the safety patrol and student fire marshals.
