Santa and Kids Yule Love Make an Early Christmas Eve Delivery

NewsCentral Staff

On Christmas Eve, before Santa takes to the skies from his North Pole Headquarters, he takes the sleigh down to Macon to visit one special family with his friends, Kids Yule Love.

"As you saw, those three kids behind us, a single mother trying to take care of them, having a hard time, this is what its all about." -Joe Allen/Kids Yule Love Founder

Kids Yule Love takes new toy donations annually for distribution to needy families in the community and every year one of those families is chosen for a VIP visit by Santa himself.

And for the past three years the Georgia Ghostbusters have also been involved in the toy delivery and their members say its something they look forward to every year.

"Its a great opportunity to be able to give back to the community. There are a lot of people who don't have the ability to give their children, their families a good Christmas and it just warms my heart." -Mitchell Brinkley III/Georgia Ghostbusters

This year the Macon-Bibb County Fire Department also participated in the delivery. Once the kids received their toys, Diane Allen of Kids Yule Love presented all the members of the family with a Bible so they can remember the true reason for the season.

"When you give out blessings, blessings come back. And I'm praying and hoping that God will bless you all tremendously, from my family the Hill and Singleton family." -Calvin Hill/Grandfather

Soon enough it was time for the Ghostbusters to take Santa back to his Sleigh so he can get back to the North Pole and prepare for tonight's ride. But the Hill and Singleton family did want to say one more thing.

"Merry Christmas Everybody"
