In Warner Robins, the legacy of Staff Sergeant Felicia Rivers lives on.
The Robins Airman Leadership School building was dedicated in her name.
Rivers was a contract specialist at the base.
But she may be best known for her work with area charities.
She lost her battle to cancer in April of last year.
Her mother reflected on her daughter's impact on the local community.
Paula Elaine Campbell\Mother of Felicia Rivers:
“I am very excited because she not only loved the Air Force, but she loved the country. Everything she did was in the spirit of excellence. “
Beyond her service to the Air Force, Rivers was a member of network 56 and the Air Force Sergeants Association.
She also volunteered in the Big Brothers-Big Sisters program.
