Rehearsals Begin for 'Dancing Stars of Central Georgia'

Dancers participating in this year's ‘Dancing Stars of Central Georgia’ fundraiser are already gearing up for the event.
WGXA's very own Felicia Combs kicked on rehearsals at her first dance lesson Thursday afternoon in Warner Robins.
Felicia is one of ten dancers who are paired with ten pros to provide an evening of fierce competition. The event raises money for the central Georgia chapter of Alzheimer's Association.
Felicia says she's excited to be part of such a worthy cause but dancing isn't as easy as it looks.
Last year's event raised over 200-thousand dollars.
WGXA is a proud sponsor of the event which takes place on May 4th. WGXA’s Chief Meteorologist will once again co-host the event with WDEN’s Laura Starling.

Dancing Stars of Central Georgia will take place May 4th at Macon's City Auditorium.
