RAFB investigating report of "unauthorized pick-up" of child

Robins Air Force Base officials are investigating a report of an "unauthorized pick-up of a child."

Base Spokesperson Chrissy Miner says it happened around 2:00 Tuesday afternoon at the Child Development Center.

Miner says RAFB security forces implemented standard precautionary measures by closing the gates, conducting vehicle inspections and contacting local authorities.

Few details have been released. Miner says the matter is under investigation.
