Police seek tips in Wednesday night Houston Avenue robbery

Macon Police are looking for a robber who heisted a local convenience store Wednesday night, armed with a bluff.

It happened at Mini Foods in the 4800 block of Houston Road. The store's clerk says the suspect came in and "acted" as if he had a gun in his jacket pocket. He ordered her to the floor, cleaned out cash from the register and then took off.

The suspect is described as a stocky black male, roughly 5 foot 8, who was wearing a red hooded jacket and a black ski mask. If you know anything about the hold-up or suspect, call Macon Police at 751-7500 or Crimestoppers at 1-877-68-CRIME.
