Police seek public's help identifying alleged burglar

Macon Police are asking for help in tracking down a suspect who allegedly stole from a store Sunday afternoon.

It happened at Fred's on Eisenhower Parkway around 2:10 p.m. Officers responded to Fred’s where they were met by an employee who discovered an unknown black male in the office. When she confronted him, he left the store before officers arrived on scene.

The suspect is described as having a husky build, approximately 5’11” – 6’01,” about 250 – 260 lbs. with a mustache and medium complexion. At the time of the incident, he was seen wearing a red baseball cap, long-sleeved white shirt under a short-sleeved button-down white shirt, dark pants and dark shoes.
