Police looking for man who robbed Macon hotel

Macon Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Macon hotel.

Police Spokesperson Jami Gaudet says sometime between 1:45 and 2:02 early Wednesday morning, the Ramada Inn at 4755 Chambers Road was robbed.

Gaudet says a black male entered the hotel lobby, pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded cash. The robber then fled on foot in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a black male of unknown age 5’7” to 5’10” in height and weighs 150 to 170 pounds. He was wearing jeans shorts and a white t-shirt, and had a black bandana over his face.
