Perry Police Chief Decision to be Made Next Week

NewsCentral Staff

The search for a new Police Chief to lead the Perry P.D. continued Monday evening.

A second interview for the two finalists was held Monday.

Steve Lynn, an investigator with the Houston County D.A.'s office and J. T. Ricketson, a Georgia Bureau of Investigation agent are left vying for the top post.

City Council members say both candidates are highly qualified and either would be a good fit with the department.

Council has not made a decision between either of these candidates.

James Faircloth, the Mayor of Perry told WGXA that they have set a tentative date for next Thursday at 5:00 p.m. to make a decision.
