A Peach County Commmissioner throws his hat into the ring for a state wide seat.
Post 3 Fort Valley Commissioner Michael Dinkins announced his intentions Monday at Central Union Baptist Church to run for the State House District 139 seat in the Georgia House of Representatives.
If elected, Dinkins plans to address water air safety and increase the presence of Georgia's historically black colleges and universities.
Michael Dinkins\Peach County Commissioner:
“I feel we need to build more coalitions. We need to build better schools, and more coalitions between business and industry. I believe I am the kind of person that can do that. “
Dinkins is a graduate of Peach County High School and Fort Valley State University.

Read about peach county commissioner running for state house seat, he says he wants to protect the young, well ask him whether he has protected his young? Do residents of Peach County need another politician or does the county deserve someone who really cares about the needs of the community and are not using their post to garner statewide and national support.
