Overnight emergency animal hospital in danger of closing for good after vets quit

NewsCentral Staff

A Middle Georgia overnight emergency animal hospital may have to shut its doors.

Macon's Animal Emergency Care on Mercer University Drive has been temporarily closed since December after two veterinarians quit. The 22-year-old business could shut down for good if a new vet isn't found.

The hospital's manager says they're now directing pet owners to the nearest after hours center which is in Fayetteville.
