Organizers Announce Lineup For This Year's "The Big Bird Bash"

Bands Across the Regions Expected to Perform

Macon's premier music bash is just around the corner and organizers are gearing up for the festivities.
Organizers have announced the lineup for this year's Big Bird Bash in Macon next month.
Seven bands from the regions will be performing.
Some of them include, "Drive by Truckers," Drivin n Cryin" and Back City Woods," among others.
The annual event highlights the most exciting musical artists and dozens of art and food vendors for the one day event.
Organizers said turnout for the music bash has grown so much over the years that they're renaming it next year.
"The Big Bird Bash is not just Macon's premier music festival, the Big Bird Bash is Macon's music festival," said Kristin O'Neal, the event's organizer.
"That's why we're pleased to announce the Big Bird Bash will be reborn in 2014 as the Macon Music Festival."

The Big Bird Bash kicks off at noon at Luther Williams Field on March 2, 2013.
Tickets for the event are 25 dollars.
