A north Macon fast food restaurant is robbed late Thursday evening.

Lieutenant Sean DeFoe of the Bibb County Sheriff's Office tells NewsCentral, the Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant on Tom Hill Sr. Boulevard was robbed around 10:00 p.m.

DeFoe says the suspect entered the business with one of his hands in his pockets, he then demanded money from the safe and the register. The suspect then ran out the back door of the restaurant.

No one was injured during the robbery.
