If you're heading out to ring in the New Year, Georgia State Troopers are warning you not to drink and drive.
State troopers are keeping a close eye out for drunk drivers and speeders now through the end of the year.
The New Year's Holiday period began Friday at 6 p.m. and ends Tuesday night at midnight.
During the Christmas Holiday period, the Georgia State Patrol investigated almost 300 car crashes.
182 people were injured and one person died as a result of those traffic accidents.
Troopers warn if you're drinking New Year's Eve then plan for a sober designated driver.
