Nancy Grace Receives Honor From Mercer University

Mercer alumni are coming back to Macon by the masses to celebrate the school's homecoming and some are being honored for their service to society.

Television journalist and Mercer alumna, Nancy Grace, received the Mercer Distinguished Alumna Award during half time of the homecoming basketball game on Saturday. The annual award is given by the Alumni Association to a Mercer graduate who has served their profession in an outstanding manner and has brought honor to the university. Grace is a national network host and specializes in high profile trials. She said it's always great to visit her hometown.

"To be back at Mercer University, my alma mater undergrad and law school means the world to me especially because I have my twins with me," Grace said.

Grace finished her under grad in ‘81 and law school in '84. She is currently the host of CNN’s Nancy Grace show.
