A local motorcycle club is giving their time this weekend to help a child in need, and they're inviting others to help.
Little RC Carter IV has sickle-cell-anemia and will be receiving a bone marrow transplant from his brother.
To help the family with the expense the Fort Valley chapter of Tru-Ryderz Motorcycle Club will be riding from Harvey's in Fort Valley and are ending up at the Museum of Aviation parking lot in Warner Robins this Saturday.
"When I heard about the story and she just got laid off her job and she's a breast cancer survivor and the father, he just got laid off his job. It kinda touched me to my heart and I brought it to my club's attention and we decided we'd go and do a charity ride for her." -Marlon Hubbard\Tru Ryderz Sgt. at Arms
Regisration for the ride begins at Harvey's in Fort Valley Saturday at 10:30 and is $5.00 per vehicle. Cars and trucks are welcomed to join the bikes. The ride begins at noon.
For more information Marlon Hubbard can be reached at 478-550-0257.
