A 13 year old boy accidentally shot and killed his sister late Monday night in Monroe County.

Monroe County Public Information Officer Allison Selman Willis tells NewsCentral that shortly after midnight on Monday a 13 year old boy accidentally shot his six year old sister with a 22 rifle at their home.

The little girl was transported to the Medical Center of Central Georgia where she later died. Their father was home at the time of the incident.
