Monoprint Works Featured In Milledgeville Art Exhibit

An Atlanta artist is showcasing her work in Middle Georgia hoping to make people re-think their connection with planet earth.

Allied Arts in Milledgeville is currently hosting the "Wandering and Wondering" art exhibit. The gallery features 50 monoprints from artist Pam Beagle Daresta. The artwork is created with handmade recycled paper and features prints of nature. Daresta said she wants people to be inspired and learn more about themselves and nature.

"I want to engage people in their own thinking about where things come from, why they're here and how we're a part of that,” Daresta said.

The exhibit will continue until February 8 and admission is free
