Model Planes Abound at Museum of Aviation

NewsCentral Staff

A new exhibit at the Museum of Aviation is promising to inspire a new generation of model aircraft fans.
The new permanent exhibit at the museum houses twenty nine models of World War 2 aircraft including U.S. German and Japanese fighters and bombers.
Artists painstakingly designed the models and tied them to a specific event from the war and represents one thirtieth the actual size of the plane.
The wooden aircraft exhibit is open daily at the Museum of Aviation on Russell Parkway in Warner Robins and is free and open to the public. For more information, call the Museum of Aviation at (478) 926-6870.
