Missing Macon Man Found Dead in Woods on Corbin Avenue

Authorities say they've found the body of a white male late Wednesday afternoon in the woods off Corbin Avenue in Macon.

Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones identified the deceased as 63-year-old Robert Odom and says likely been dead for a few days. According to Jones, Odom had been missing for several days, but was found in the woods next door to his home.

Officials are treating the case as a suspicious death. An autopsy is set for Thursday.
