MetLife formally acquires Reynolds Plantation

A golf and resort community located on Lake Oconee is going through a change of ownership.

MetLife announced Thursday it has completed its purchase of Reynolds Plantation. The acquisition includes the Ritz-Carlton Lodge, six golf courses, four marinas and nearl 5,000 acres of undeveloped land.

The Daniel Corporation will oversee day-to-day operations at Reynolds Plantation while MetLife will manage the real estate investments.
