Meth Dealer Taken Down in Washington County

NewsCentral Staff

Deputies in Washington County say they have taken down one of their biggest meth dealers in the county.

It's all went down at 1010 Jordan Mill Road in Sandersville. That's where Sheriff Thomas Smith says 45-year-old Nick Daniel was taken into custody.

Authorities say 'junk' was traded for the crystal meth. Rods and reels, exercise equipment, 4-wheelers, boats, cars, and over 50 firearms are just the tip of the iceberg of items deputies will have to go through.

Daniel is charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and felony theft by receiving of a firearm. More charges are pending.

The exact amount of meth is still unknown as Daneil apparently had cans of the drug buried all over the yard.

Sheriff Thomas Smith told WGXA, "It is just a tremendous positive image for Washington County by getting this defendant off the streets."
