Memorial Fund For Teen Struck by Stray Bullet Underway

The young college bound student who was killed by a stray bullet in her home while playing video games is being remembered through a memorial fund.

Shy Daniels was a 2012 Central High School graduate and had been accepted to Clark and Macon State.

She was playing a video game at her residence on 4765 Brookhaven Rd. when a bullet came through the wall of the house last month.

Her murder is still unsolved and Macon Peace Keepers will honor the loss by helping the family with the burial expenses and buying a commemorative plaque to be placed somewhere that was important to her. Central High School is being considered.

The plaque and check presentation will be held August 2nd at Macon City Hall.
