Medical Center completes two phases of construction

Roadwork around the Medical Center of Central Georgia is one step closer to being complete.

Megan Allen with the MCCG says Phase I and Phase II reopened Friday, December 21. That's the area of Pine Street between Spring and New Streets in front of The Children’s Hospital and MCCG’s Surgery Center.

Phase II is the intersection at Pine and New Streets in front of MCCG’s Emergency Center.

Allen says construction is continuing on New Street, and construction on Pine Street between New and First Streets should begin within the next few weeks.
