Mayor Shaheen Names New Public Information Officer

Mayor Chuck Shaheen announced Wednesday who the new public information officer is for the City of Warner Robins.

During a press conference at the Shirley Hills Baptist Church, Mayor Shaheen named Ruby Hamb-Holmes as the city's new public information officer. Hamb-Holmes has already been working for the city for two years as the program director for the Recreation Department and now will add the PIO position to her list of duties.

Her role will be to work closely with the media, become transparent in city government and to promote city functions.

Mayor Shaheen says "He couldn’t pick a better person to be the PIO."
