NewsCentral Staff

A Macon man kicks out a squad car window after getting into a stabbing altercation with his brother.

It happened Wednesday night in the 3200 block of Matheson Drive. That's where police responded to a stabbing in which brothers Tavarus and Michael Gray got into a fight.

Police spokesperson Jami Gaudet says 30 year-old Michael pulled out a knife and stabbed 29 year-old Tavarus in the upper torso. Tavarus was transported to the Medical Center for the injuries he sustained, which required surgery.

Michael Antwain Gray was transported to the Bibb LEC and was charged with aggravated assault family violence, drug possession schedule I, and interfering with government property.

Gaudet says while being taken into custody, Michael kicked the rear window of a MPD patrol car, causing damage. This is his 11th arrest dating back to 2003.
