Man busted with 23 pounds of pot in apartment raid

Macon Police say they took more than 23 pounds of marijuana off the street Wednesday in a raid at a Riley Avenue apartment.

Arrested and charged is 41-year-old Bobby Lee Davis on counts ranging from trafficking marijuana and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and a probation violation.

Police say the 23 pounds of weed have a street value of $46,000. He's being held in the Bibb LEC. No bond is listed.
