An investigation into what was first reported as an accidental shooting led to an arrest on charges of Aggravated Assault Saturday afternoon. Those charges have now been upgraded to murder.

Officers responded to the 2400 block of D Street just before 6 p.m. Saturday.

A female called 911 and said that a man had accidentally shot himself. Upon arrival, officers found 47-year-old Terrific Woolfolk inside of a vehicle with a gunshot wound to the head.

Shondrinka Walker, the female caller, admitted to officers that she shot Woolfolk during a verbal altercation. Walker has been charged with aggravated assault and is being held at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.

Woolfolk died Sunday morning in the Intensive Care Unit. Walker is now charged with his murder.
