Update: Man Found on Macon Street has Died

The unconscious man found on a Macon Street over the weekend has died.

Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones says Jelks died Thursday afternoon from head trauma.

31-year-old Albert Jelks was found on Vineville Avenue Saturday morning bleeding from the head and the face.

Police are calling this a very puzzling case.

They still don't have any new leads or know exactly how he was injured.
