Macon ranks sixth in U.S. for music downloads per capita

Macon is topping the charts in the music industry but not in a good way.

Macon has ranked sixth in the country for the most music downloads per capita. That's according to Musicmetrix Digital Music Index. It claims Macon has .41 downloads per capita at just over 282,000.

Atlanta ranks 10th in the country for most downloads per capita. Gainesville, Florida was named as the country's "pirate capital."
